KOPR-KOTE Drill Collar and Tool Joint Compound is widely regarded as the best copper-based drilling compound in the world. It is one of the few, if not the only, copper-based compounds to receive both an NSF registration and a DOT exception from being marked as a marine pollutant. KOPR-KOTE is uniquely formulated to prevent excessive circumferential make up and has a very high static friction factor that helps prevent downhole joint make up when excessive drilling torques are encounted.
