Retainer
The 1197 retainer was designed for changing the tool without the removal of retainer from the hammer barrel. The tool is changed simply by pushing the tool upwards in the hammer and turning a quarter turn and then downwards. Insert tool from the bottom of the retainer and turn a quarter turn to lock the tool in place. Steel segments hold the retainer in the barrel, and its design is OSHA approved for maximum safety.
