Texas Pneumatic Tools
American-made pneumatic tools from Reagan, Texas — venturi air movers, ASME air manifolds and receiver tanks, jet fans and pipe line blowers on the air side; paving breakers, rock drills, rivet busters, scalers and foundry rammers on the percussion side. Crowder Supply has stocked and serviced the TPT line since 1987.
The short version
Texas Pneumatic Tools (TPT) builds two different families and most buyers only need one of them. Moving, storing or drying compressed air? Start with air manifolds (2.5 to 60 gallon, ASME coded), air receiver tanks (80 to 400 gallon, 200 psi), venturi air movers and pipe line blowers. Breaking, drilling, scaling or ramming? Go to paving breakers, rock drills, rivet busters, chipping hammers or the foundry rammers. Shopping every brand rather than just TPT? The all-brands aisles are Air Movement & Storage and Demolition & Digging. Not sure which size fits your compressor? Call 1-888-883-5144 and we will size it against your CFM.
Air movement, storage and compressed air
The larger half of the Texas Pneumatic line, and the half Crowder gets asked about most. Sizing help: read the air compressor buyer’s guide before you pick a manifold or receiver.

Air Manifolds — run four to eight tools off one compressor
ASME-coded receivers with multiple outlets so a single compressor can feed a whole crew without starving anyone. Five sizes from the 22 lb 2.5-gallon TX3AMF up to the 193 lb 60-gallon TX5AMF, plus a 10-gallon California permit-exempt model.
Choose it when: you are splitting one compressor across several breakers, drills or blow-off stations.
Key specs

Texas Pneumatic 15 Gal. Air Manifold
The size most contractors land on: big enough to steady four tools, small enough for one person to move. 3/4 in NPT outlets, ASME coded, and the optional TX-10099 safety cage fits it.
Choose it when: you want one manifold that covers a typical four-tool crew.
Key specs

Air Receiver Tanks — stop the pressure sag
Horizontal or vertical 200 psi receivers that buffer a compressor against spiky demand, cut short cycling and drop moisture out of the line before it reaches the tools. 80, 120 and 400 gallon.
Choose it when: your tools starve on start-up or the compressor short-cycles all day.
Key specs

Venturi Air Movers — no motor, no spark, no cord
A venturi air mover has no moving parts: compressed air entrains up to 30 times its own volume of ambient air through the horn. Four sizes and horn materials from galvanized steel through polymer to all-stainless, which is the only all-stainless air mover on the market.
Choose it when: you need ventilation in a confined space where an electric fan is not allowed.
Key specs

Pipe Line Blowers — blow down a line before you open it
Male API flange blowers that push a high-volume slug of air through pipe to clear construction debris, dry a new water line, purge a gas line or move product in a conveying system. Four flange sizes from 3 in (11 lb) to 8 in (50 lb).
Choose it when: you have to clear, dry or purge pipe without running a truck-mounted blower package.
Key specs

Jet Fans — four-blade vaneaxial, compressed-air driven
Cast-aluminum four-blade vaneaxial fans that run as a blower or an exhauster on shop air, rated 40-110 psi. The 20 in and 24 in bodies bolt straight to API tank flanges, and the TX-SG swing gates cover the opening when the fan comes off.
Choose it when: you are ventilating a tank, vault or tunnel and cannot put a motor in the space.

Percussion and demolition tools
Buying guides worth ten minutes first: paving breakers, rock drills, chipping hammers, rivet busters and tampers and rammers.

Paving Breakers & Jackhammers
Thor-pattern pneumatic breakers in three weight classes, each offered in two chuck sizes. The 30 lb TX30 runs 1,550 blows per minute on 49 CFM; the 90 lb TX90 hits at 1,250 BPM on 75 CFM. A 40 lb TX40 sits between them — we are adding it online now and can take the order by phone today.
Choose it when: you are breaking concrete, asphalt or footings on shop air or a tow-behind compressor.
Key specs

Rivet Busters — pound for pound the hardest hitter TPT builds
Three stroke lengths, each in D-handle (inside trigger) or pistol (outside trigger) form, shipped with a filter/lubricator hose whip plus a 12 in moil point and flat chisel. A safety bridge retains the piston.
Choose it when: you are cutting rivets, busting beams or trimming structural steel.
Key specs

Texas Pneumatic TX133-11 Rivet Buster
The long-stroke member of the family and the TPT tool Crowder sells the most dollars of. 850 BPM on 50 CFM through a 1/2 in female NPT inlet, in D-handle or outside-trigger pistol form.
Choose it when: the rivet or beam is not moving for a 6 or 8 in stroke tool.
Key specs

Rock Drills & Utility Hammer Drills
Hand-held pneumatic drills from the 9 lb TX-C9 utility hammer up to the 60 lb TX60RD, shipped with a lubricator and hose whip. Multiple chuck sizes so they take the same steel as the rest of your fleet.
Choose it when: you are drilling anchor holes, breaking out block or collaring in rock without a rig.
Key specs

Chipping Hammers
Three stroke lengths, each in .580 hex or .680 round bushing, and in 4-bolt or standard oval-collar retainer form. The 4-bolt version ships with a lubricator, hose whip, quick-change retainer and a 12 in moil point and flat chisel.
Choose it when: you are chipping weld slag, cleaning castings or scarifying concrete.
Key specs

Chisel Scalers, Needle Scalers & Piston Scalers
The widest sub-family in the TPT line: chisel and needle scalers in lever or push throttle, long-reach bodies for tile and non-skid removal, combination kits, and the S1 and T3 piston scalers with optional Rexalloy or carbide-tipped pistons. Coke-oven throttle models are being added — call to order one in the meantime.
Choose it when: you are removing rust, mill scale, paint, cement or non-skid from steel.

Which Texas Pneumatic tool does the job?
Ventilating a tank, vault or manhole
No electricity in the space. A venturi air mover or a compressed-air jet fan moves the volume without putting a motor or a cord inside the hazard.
Air movers and jet fansFeeding a four-tool crew off one compressor
An ASME air manifold splits the supply and steadies the pressure. Add a receiver tank if the compressor short-cycles.
Air manifoldsWet air ruining tools or freezing lines
A TX-MSS moisture separating system takes four passes at the water before it reaches the hose, with deliquescent desiccant for final drying.
Moisture separationCutting rivets or trimming structural steel
The TX133 rivet busters hit harder per pound than anything else TPT builds. Pick stroke length by how stubborn the fastener is.
Rivet bustersSilica dust on a concrete job
A TX-DCS collector pulls dust at the tool through a cyclonic pre-separator and a HEPA filter to meet OSHA 1926.1153.
Dust collectionRamming sand in a foundry
TX00 and TX70B sand rammers for molding sand, TX8 bench rammers for pattern work. Non-revolving pistons are available for both.

What is Texas Pneumatic Tools?
Texas Pneumatic Tools, Inc. (TPT) is an American manufacturer of compressed-air tools and air movement equipment built in Reagan, Texas, with additional operations in Carson City, Nevada and Norfolk, Virginia. The line splits into two halves: percussion tools (paving breakers, rock drills, rivet busters, chipping hammers, scalers, rammers) and air movement products (venturi air movers, jet fans, man coolers, tornado blowers, air manifolds, receiver tanks, moisture separators and dust collection). Most of the range is marked Made in USA.
Is Crowder Supply an authorized Texas Pneumatic distributor?
Yes. Crowder Supply has been a stocking Texas Pneumatic distributor for years and has supplied equipment since 1987, shipping nationwide. We stock the fast-moving models, order the rest direct, and support parts and PDF breakdowns for the tools we sell. Call 1-888-883-5144 or use our contact page.
What does a venturi air mover do that a fan does not?
A venturi air mover has no motor, no blades and no moving parts. Compressed air enters a ring inside the horn and drags a much larger volume of ambient air along with it, so a 21 CFM feed on a TX-3AM puts out about 1,017 CFM. That matters in confined spaces, refineries and tank work where an electric fan is not permitted and a cord is a hazard. Air flow rates on the TPT line are independently tested to AMCA Standard 210.
How many tools can I run off one Texas Pneumatic air manifold?
It depends on the compressor, not the manifold. Add up the CFM of the tools you want to run at the same time and compare it to the compressor’s rated output at 90 psi. The manifold’s job is to split that supply cleanly and buffer it: the 2.5-gallon TX3AMF steadies two or three small tools, the 15-gallon TX2AMF suits a typical four-tool crew, and the 30 and 60 gallon TX4AMF and TX5AMF carry mixed 3/4, 1 and 2 in outlets for larger spreads. Call us with your compressor model and we will size it.
Do you stock the whole Texas Pneumatic catalogue?
Nearly all of it. We list roughly 60 TPT products online, and we are adding the 40 lb TX40PB paving breaker and the coke-oven scaler models now — call and we will take the order today. Accessories such as air mover stands, tote carts, the TX-10099 safety cage and custom manifold configurations are quoted with the tool. A small number of factory items we choose not to carry; if you need one of those, call and we will point you in the right direction.
What is the difference between the 4-bolt and standard chipping hammers?
The 4-bolt TXCH models use a ball-type retainer and spring and ship as a kit with a lubricator, hose whip, quick-change retainer, a 12 in moil point and a flat chisel — they list at $740. The standard models use an oval collar retainer and spring and list at $840 to $878. Both come in 2, 3 or 4 in stroke and in .580 hex or .680 round bushing.
Which Texas Pneumatic tools work for foundry work?
The TX00 and TX70B sand rammers pack molding sand around patterns, and the TX8 bench rammer handles pattern and bench work in 2-1/2 or 4 in stroke. Optional non-revolving pistons are available across the range and all ship with a rubber butt. Chipping hammers and the S1 and T3 piston scalers cover cleaning castings. See bench rammers and sand rammers.
Does Texas Pneumatic make hydraulic or gas-powered breakers?
No. The TPT line is compressed-air driven from end to end, plus electric motors on the Tornado blowers and man coolers. If you need a hydraulic breaker or a self-contained gas breaker, look at the all-brands demolition aisle — Atlas Copco, Chicago Pneumatic and APT cover those power sources and we stock all three.
What about silica dust compliance?
The TX-DCS range is built against OSHA standard 1926.1153. A cyclonic pre-separator strips more than 90 percent of the dust and debris before the HEPA filter, which captures down to 0.3 micron at 99.97 percent efficiency and can be washed. The system can sit up to 30 ft from the work area, and the collected dust is dry, so there is no wet slurry to dispose of. Multi-user TX-DCS-MU units run three or five vacuum lines.
How fast do Texas Pneumatic orders ship?
Stocked items ship the same day on orders placed by 4 PM Eastern, with free UPS Ground on most items. Larger equipment — 400 gallon receiver tanks, 60 gallon manifolds, 48 in man coolers and the TX-MSS separators — ships by freight and we quote it with the order. Factory-direct items normally leave Texas within a few days.
Where can I get parts and PDF breakdowns for my Texas Pneumatic tool?
Every tool we sell has a parts breakdown available. Find your tool on its product page and use the parts link, or call 1-888-883-5144 with the model and serial and we will pull the right kit. TPT keeps one of the largest replacement parts inventories in the country for its own tools, so most parts ship quickly.
