Drilling
Rock drills and sinker drills sink holes in stone and concrete; jackleg and feed-leg drills and the Demon drill add a powered leg for underground and overhead drift work; down-the-hole hammers reach depth for blast and anchor holes.
Splitting
Where blasting is off the table, concrete & rock splitters crack rock and mass concrete with hydraulic force—no vibration, no flyrock. Drilling takes drill steel, rods, and bits; hydraulic tools run off hydraulic power packs. To pick a drill for your ground, see our guide to choosing a rock drill.
