Master Chuck First, Then the Adapter
Every Rhino PD setup starts with a master chuck sized to that driver. It seats over the post head and sends the blow straight down the centerline; adapters then drop or bolt into the bore to match the exact profile. The PD-110 master chuck and the PD-140 assembly both run 4-1/4 in., while the PD-200 master chuck comes in 5-1/2 in. and 7 in. bores plus 4 in. round and 4 in. square profiles. Drive Caps for Pipe, Channel, and Telespar
A drive cap goes between the chuck and an open-ended post. Schedule 40 pipe caps fit 2 in. through 6 in. pipe and spread the blow across the pipe end so it does not mushroom or split. The low drive channel cap sets 1.2–1.5 lb/ft channel below the point a standard cap runs out of reach, and the Telespar low drive extension does the same for square breakaway sign posts. Add a T-bar for leverage when seating and pulling caps.
Air Prep, Hose, and Transport
A pneumatic post driver is only as steady as its air supply. The Rhino FRL filters water and grit, holds a set pressure, and mists oil into the line for the PD-55, PD-110, PD-140, and PD-200, and a steel carrier keeps it portable. The 15 ft 2 in. hose whip buys working room off the supply line, the throttle valve kit puts control at the operator, and the PD transport cart moves a PD-55, PD-110, or PD-140 and its tooling over gravel.
