Rivet Sets and Flush Sets
A rivet set fits the hammer and forms the driven head. A universal set cups the head; the flush rivet set drives a countersunk rivet level with the surrounding skin, so it goes where appearance and drag matter. Both it and the CP rivet set are nonmagnetic and chemically treated, so they resist corrosion and shrug off bench chips.
Bucking Bars
Every driven rivet needs mass behind the tail. The CP bucking bar is held against the shop head while the hammer works the other side, and its profile decides whether the joint is reachable at all. The ergonomic shape gives better control on tight work and less hand strain across a long shift.
Matching Consumables to the Tool

Common Questions
What does a bucking bar actually do? It is the anvil. One worker holds the bar against the rivet tail while a second drives the head with a pneumatic rivet hammer; the bar’s mass forms the shop head. Weight and shape are chosen for the joint and the access.
What is the difference between a rivet set and a flush set? A standard set cups a protruding head. A flush set has a flat face and drives countersunk rivets even with the skin, which is what you want where a raised head would add drag or spoil the finish.
Will these fit tools other than a rivet hammer? Shank size governs. Sets are cut for the hammer bushing they were made for, so check yours against the tool — the same rule applies to chisels and retainers for other percussive tools.
