Rhino Post Pullers
These are the jaws and attachments that decide what a Rhino post puller can actually grip. The Rhino Post Grabber and the Panel Post Grabber clamp the post and give the lever arm something to lift against; both are made in the U.S.A. from high-quality steel for the PL-3 and MP-3 pullers, part numbers 071000 and 071012, and the standard grabber measures 2-1/2 in. x 4-1/4 in. inside. The Telespar stub puller lifts square-tube break-away anchors back out of the ground after installation, and the tent stake and ground rod puller takes care of driven stakes and rods. Grabbers for Post and Panel
The grabber is what hands the post to the puller, so the opening is the spec that matters. The standard grabber is 2-1/2 in. by 4-1/4 in. inside — measure your post against that before ordering. The panel grabber is shaped for panel posts instead. Both are built specifically for the PL-3 and MP-3 and are not universal fittings.
Break-Away Sign Anchors
Square-tube break-away systems leave an anchor stub in the ground when the sign assembly comes out. The stub puller grips that stub and draws it straight up, which is the difference between reusing a hole and digging a new one. It is an installer’s tool — sign and fence crews doing volume removal and re-set work the same day they drive with a post driver.
When Hand Leverage Runs Out
Manual pullers and grabbers cover fence post, T-post, stake, and sign stub work with almost no ground disturbance. Guardrail, deep pipe, and posts set in concrete need more than a lever: move to hydraulic post pullers such as the Atlas Copco LPP 10HD or the CP PPU 22HD.
Common Questions
Which Rhino post puller do these grabbers fit? The post grabber and panel grabber are made for the Rhino PL-3 and MP-3 pullers, part numbers 071000 and 071012. Confirm your model before ordering — the full Rhino pulling line is on the brand page.
What is a stub puller? It is an attachment that grips the square-tube break-away anchor left behind by a sign base and extracts it without digging. The Rhino version is built for the Telespar break-away anchor system.
Can I pull pipe or ground rod with these? The grabber opening is rectangular, so square tube and post sections seat best in it. For round rod and driven stakes, use the stake and rod tool; for heavy pipe, use a hydraulic puller.
Do these work on a driver-mounted setup? No — these are hand tools for the PL-3 and MP-3. For extracting pile driven by a mounted machine, see the pile puller kit for the Solar Pro and Guardrail Pro.
How quickly do these ship? Orders for in-stock rhino post pullers placed by 4 PM Eastern ship the same day from our Denver warehouse. Stock varies by size, so confirm with us before ordering if you’re working to a deadline.
