The Darda Quick Coupling Pair for Power Pack is a matched set of high-pressure and low-pressure hydraulic quick couplings designed for use on Darda hydraulic power packs. This coupling pair allows multiple power packs to be connected interchangeably to the same hydraulic hose and tool system (for example, a Darda splitter, crusher, or combi tool). It ensures rapid, safe, and leak-free connection and disconnection between power packs and hoses without hydraulic oil loss or contamination essential when alternating between different power packs on-site.

Design:

  • Hydraulic quick coupling pair (male + female halves for high and low pressure lines)
  • Designed for Darda S1-series hose systems and Darda hydraulic power packs
  • Enables connection of multiple power packs to one hose-tool setup, providing flexibility and redundancy in field operations
  • High Pressure Line: up to 700 bar (10,000 psi); Low Pressure Line: up to 60 bar (870 psi)
  • Manual push-to-connect or sleeve-locking quick coupling can be engaged/disengaged without tools
  • Self-sealing poppet valves automatically close upon disconnection to prevent fluid leakage
  • High-pressure O-ring and PTFE backup rings for reliable, leak-free performance
  • Locking sleeve to prevent accidental disconnection during pressurized operation
  • Typically fixed to the power packs hydraulic output ports, one for pressure, one for return

Applications: Allows a single Darda S1 hose and tool to be used with multiple hydraulic power packs (e.g., when switching between power sources, or when one pack is in maintenance). Ensures consistent hydraulic connection standards across a fleet of Darda power packs. Used in Darda Power Packs (HCS 6, HCS 8, HPP 700, etc.); Darda S1 Twin-Line Hoses; Hydraulic Splitters, Crushers, and Combi Tools

  • Controlled demolition and concrete splitting
  • Quarrying and rock breaking
  • Industrial dismantling
  • Mining and tunneling
  • Maintenance operations requiring tool or power pack interchangeability

Materials:

  • Coupling Bodies: Hardened alloy steel (zinc-nickel or chrome plated) – High tensile strength, corrosion resistance under high pressure
  • Internal Valve Components: Stainless steel – Wear resistance, precision sealing, corrosion protection
  • Locking Sleeve: Case-hardened steel – Secure connection and long service life under vibration
  • Springs & Retainers: Stainless steel – Provides consistent valve actuation
  • Seals/O-Rings: Nitrile (NBR) or Viton (FKM) – Resistant to hydraulic oil, heat, and wear
  • Back up Rings: PTFE (Teflon) – Prevents extrusion at 700 bar pressure
  • Dust Cap (optional): Polyamide (PA6) or Rubber – Protects against contamination when disconnected
