Diesel Driven Air Compressors

Keep high-air-demand tools running all shift with towable diesel compressors built for sustained jobsite output. Chicago Pneumatic CPS, Kaeser Mobilair, and Vanair Viper Diesel units span compact utility models up to machines past 400 CFM—enough air to feed rock drills, paving breakers, and sandblasting rigs at once. When a job needs less, gas-driven units ride on a service truck instead.

Matching CFM to the Job

Diesel compressors earn their place where air cannot run out—continuous breaking, drilling, and blasting. A single chipping hammer draws little, but add a second breaker or a sinker drill and the demand climbs fast; a unit pinned near its limit runs hot and wears faster. Size to the combined draw of the tools on the job, with headroom to spare.

Towable and Portable Models

These units ride on towable or skid frames for moving between sites and working where there is no shop power. Smaller Mobilair and CPS models suit one or two tools, while larger units carry crews running several at once. For every power source side by side, see air compressors.

Service and Cold-Weather Support

Diesel units hold their output when maintained on schedule and protected from freeze-ups. Service kits bundle the filters, separators, and oil for each run-hour interval, and accessories add cold-weather kits, aftercoolers, and moisture separators for winter work.
