The Rhino GPD-45 Multi-Pro XAU is a 47 lb gas powered post driver built for U-channel and PostMaster-style sign posts on the Honda GX35 4-stroke platform. Its factory-installed extended anvil and longer Chuck-Lok also handle round wood, square sign and channel posts, so highway sign, DOT and municipal crews carry one driver instead of several the broadest-capability model in the Rhino gas post driver lineup.
An optional factory-installed top throttle, selectable on this page, adds a second trigger on the top handle so the operator finishes each drive from ground level as the post sinks; the top throttle kit retrofits drivers already in the field. Chuck changes are a four-bolt swap between channel, square tube and round. See how the XAU compares across our post driver range, or work through the Find My Driver tool in the Rhino post driver buyers guide.

Multi-Pro XAU FAQ
What posts will the Multi-Pro XAU drive?
U-channel and PostMaster-style sign posts are its specialty thanks to the factory extended anvil and longer Chuck-Lok, and the 2-1/2 in. master chuck also handles round wood, square sign, channel and T-posts.
What fuel does the Honda GX35 engine take?
Straight unleaded gasoline, 86 octane or higher — no mixing, since the GX35 is a 4-stroke. The tank holds 0.67 gallons and the crankcase runs SAE 10W-30.
What does the top throttle option add?
A second trigger on the top handle, factory installed, so the operator finishes each drive from ground level as the post sinks instead of reaching up for the side throttle.
What warranty comes with it?
Honda backs the GX35 engine for 2 years residential / 1 year commercial, and Rhino adds its lifetime impact warranty; scheduled service parts live under the GPD-45 XA kits category.
