The APT 137 is a 30 lb class handheld pneumatic rock drill from American Pneumatic Tools, built for anchor-hole drilling, foundation pins, quarry bench work and rock bolting. A 2-3/8 in. bore and 2-5/8 in. stroke deliver 2,300 BPM through your choice of 7/8 x 3-1/4, 7/8 x 4-1/4 or 1 x 4-1/4 in. hex chuck, in dry or wet water-flush configurations for dust-controlled drilling.
At 38 lb and 19-3/4 in. long, the 137 works all day on standard contractor air 8590 CFM at 90 PSI through a 1/2 in. male NPT inlet, so a single 185 CFM compressor keeps one drill hitting. Load it with matching hex shanked drill steel, keep rock drill oil in the line, and compare it against the rest of our pneumatic rock drills if you are sizing up or down in weight class.
