The Chicago Pneumatic CP 0014RR is a 14 lb class pneumatic rock drill a 16 lb tool that drills like a bigger machine, hitting 2,520 BPM on just 38 CFM at 90 PSI. Foundation and utility crews carry it for anchor-bolt holes, foundation pins and small downward blast holes when a heavier sinker would burn the crew out by lunch. It sits at the light end of the Chicago Pneumatic rock drill line.
The 7/8 x 3-1/4 in. hex chuck runs standard shanked drill steel, and the 3/8 in. NPT inlet means a 100 CFM compressor covers a single drill with headroom. At 18-1/2 in. long it also works in tight spots bigger drills cannot reach. When holes get deeper or rock gets denser, step up through our full pneumatic rock drill range the rock drill buyer’s guide shows where each class earns its keep.
