Drawing just 18 CFM at 90 psi, it is the tamper for small utility compressors, and heat-treated cylinders with chrome-plated pistons give it the same service life as its bigger stablemates.
Vertical strikes reach lifts at the bottom of a narrow trench where no plate or wheeled roller fits. When production outgrows it, the CP 0004 (28 CFM) and CP 0035 (39 CFM) carry on in the same pattern; all three sit with our other backfill tampers in Denver, and an in-line lubricator keeps any of them oiled through the shift.
