The Mincon MP30-DH is the compact end of rig-run percussion drilling: a 3 in. OD down-the-hole hammer that drills 3.4 to 4.1 in. (85105 mm) holes on DHD3.5 shank bits. At 47 lb with a 2-3/8 API backhead thread and a factory foot valve, it suits smaller blast-hole rigs and the well, quarry and construction work where a bigger hammer simply will not fit the hole plan.
Like every DTH tool, the piston strikes the bit directly at the bottom of the hole, so penetration holds steady as depth grows. Pair it with carbide DTH bits in the 3.4 to 4.1 in. range, keep rock drill oil flowing in the air line, and see the rest of our down-the-hole hammers or the DTH hammer buyer’s guide if the job calls for a larger bore.
- Bit range 3.4 to 4.1 in. (85 to 105 mm holes) on DHD3.5 shank support
- Hammer OD 3 in.; 2-3/8 API backhead thread; foot valve fitted
- Tool weight 47 lb light enough for small rigs and confined setups
- Direct piston-to-bit impact keeps penetration consistent regardless of hole depth
- Applications: construction, quarrying, mining and water-well drilling
- Built at Mincon’s Ireland and Finland facilities with proprietary heat treatment
- Stocked by Crowder Supply in Denver
