Rhino PD-140 Chuck Adapter
The Rhino PD-140 chuck adapters are precision-fit inserts that bolt onto the PD-140 master chuck to match the driver to the exact post profile being driven. Available in round pipe sizes from 2 in. through 3-5/8 in., U-channel weights from 1 lb to 4 lb, plus dedicated profiles for sheet piling, guardrail, and square wood and metal post applications. Each adapter transfers the full impact force directly down the post’s centerline for clean, straight drives.
- Round pipe adapters in four sizes 2 in., 2-1/2 in., 3 in., and 3-5/8 in. covering the most common fence, sign, and utility post diameters used in the field.
- U-channel post adapters cover the 1 to 1.5 lb, 2 to 2.75 lb, and 3 to 4 lb classes, matching the standard weights of roadside sign and marker channel.
- Slotted Sheet Pile Chuck handles 12 in. sheet piling for dock, retaining wall, and foundation applications where a standard round adapter cannot engage the pile profile.
- 4×4 Square Wood and Metal adapter for driving square wood and metal posts without marring or splitting the post face during impact.
- 4×6 H Column Guardrail adapter drives standard guardrail posts when paired with the 4×6 H Column Drive Cap required for proper seating on the H-column flange.
- 3 in. and 3-1/2 in. Drive Caps, T-bar and Clip required for driving 3 in. and 3-1/2 in. Schedule 40 pipe where a standard round adapter would not seat correctly on the pipe wall.
- 4-3/4 in. Master Chuck available for oversized post applications requiring a larger drive diameter than the standard 4-1/4 in. chuck.
- All adapters bolt directly onto the PD-140 master chuck and include all required hardware.
