- Drilling: A hole with a diameter of 45-48 mm and a minimum depth of 640 mm is drilled into the material.
- Insertion: The splitter, with the central wedge retracted, is inserted into the drilled hole.
- Activation: Upon hydraulic activation, the central wedge advances, pushing the counter wedges apart and creating a controlled split in the material.
