This 6 ft hose whip assembly puts a short, flexible buffer between the contractors air hose and the tool, with a line oiler built into the run so the tool gets oil with its air. Standard 300 PSI fabric-braid hose in 1/2 in. and 3/4 in. ID or heavy-duty metal-braided hydraulic hose for punishing service carries line oilers from 1.4 oz to 16 oz with crowsfoot, threaded and swivel tool ends.

The whip absorbs vibration and tool movement that would otherwise fatigue the main hose and its fittings, and the adjustable oiler has a viewing window always depressurize the hose before adding or adjusting oil. Fill it from the rock drill oil shelf, add a whip check at every coupling, and find larger reservoirs among our hose oilers.

Hose Whip Assembly FAQ

Which line oiler size do I need?
The oiler is matched to the hose: 1/2 in. ID whips carry a 1.4 oz or 3.7 oz oiler, while 3/4 in. ID whips carry an 11 oz or 16 oz reservoir. Every size is adjustable and has a viewing window so you can see oil feed at a glance.

How do I add or adjust the oil?
Always depressurize the hose first, then fill through the oiler port with pneumatic tool and rock drill oil and set the feed with the adjustment screw, confirming flow through the viewing window.

Standard or heavy-duty metal-braided hose which should I pick?
The standard 300 PSI fabric-braid air hose covers everyday construction and shop service; choose the heavy-duty metal-braided hydraulic hose for punishing duty cycles and marine environments.
