Chicago Pneumatic CP0200 Series sand rammers are built for intensive foundry duty: bench rammers for packing casting sand in cylinders and large molds, and long-body floor rammers for compacting sand at floor level from a standing position. The series spans butt diameters from 1.61 to 2.95 in. with strokes from 1.97 to 5 in., running 720 to 1,800 blows per minute, each with a safety lever throttle.
Stocked models run from the 3.31 lb, 11.02 in. CP0200B18 up to the 22 lb, 42.8 in. CP0200B32L, drawing 14 to 28 CFM at 90 psi, and they double as tampers for soil, asphalt patch and refractory installation. The series lives in our bench and sand rammer category; the tampers buyer’s guide maps rammer sizes to the work, and Chicago Pneumatic backfill tampers take over for full-depth trench compaction.
