The Darda C20 C is a carrier-mounted rock splitter for 5-7 ton excavators – 1,800 tons of splitting force from a 76 mm (3 in.) drill hole, the strongest splitting cylinder in the world relative to its size. It is chain-suspended from the carrier boom, aligning itself with gravity for vertical splitting. It hangs from almost any hydraulic boom, with a second operator steering the splitting direction. An internal pressure booster guarantees full splitting force regardless of the carrier’s hydraulic input pressure, and the automatic wedge lubrication system delivers 80-100 splits per filling. Nearly silent, vibration-free and with no fly-rock, it splits in inhabited areas, underground, inside buildings and underwater – ideal for trenching, foundations, quarrying and natural stone block extraction.
