Hydraulic cut-off saws cut concrete, asphalt, and steel with the reach of a handheld tool and none of a gas saw’s exhaust. The Atlas Copco LS-14, APT MHS14, and CP SAW 14 all use a direct-drive layout in place of a belt, which cuts maintenance, and an open cutting face that lets the blade work flush to a wall or into a corner. A water kit is available on each to supply cooling water, and a lightweight cart turns one into a floor and road saw for light surface work. All three run off a hydraulic power pack.
