Rhino PD-55 Master Chuck
The Rhino PD-55 Master Chuck is the foundation of the PD-55 post driver system, accepting a full range of bolt-on chuck adapters to match the driver to virtually any post profile in the field. With a 3-7/8 in. (98.4mm) inner diameter and built for medium-duty production driving, the master chuck transfers full impact force directly down the post’s centerline for clean, straight drives across a wide variety of post types and soil conditions.
- Round pipe adapters available in seven sizes 1 in., 1-1/2 in., 2 in., 2-1/2 in., 3 in., and 3-1/2 in. covering the full range of common fence, sign, and utility post diameters used in the field.
- U-channel post adapters cover the 1 to 1.5 lb, 2 to 2.75 lb, and 3 to 4 lb classes, matching the standard weights of roadside sign and marker channel.
- Heavy-duty 2 in. T-Post adapter built with thicker walls than the standard 2 in. round for production crews driving high cycles per day on steel T-posts.
- 4-1/16 in. Square Wood Post Chuck for driving 4×4 wood and metal square posts without marring or splitting the post face during impact.
- Drive caps available in 2-1/2 in., 3 in., and 3-1/2 in. for driving Schedule 40 pipe in those respective sizes where a standard round adapter would not seat correctly on the pipe wall.
- Optional 4-1/4 in. Master Chuck available for crews who need to use PD-110 adapters on the PD-55 driver, expanding compatibility to larger post profiles.
- All adapters bolt directly onto the PD-55 master chuck and include all required hardware swap between post profiles quickly without special tools.
