The Texas Pneumatic TX-C9 is a 9 lb handheld pneumatic utility hammer drill for light chipping, spot drilling and small-diameter anchor holes the lightest rock drill in the Texas Pneumatic line. It runs 3,400 BPM through a 1-3/8 in. piston stroke, measures 14-3/4 in. overall, and accepts 1-1/4 in. drill steels in dry operation.
Drawing 20 CFM at 90 PSI, it pairs with a 50 CFM compressor for single-tool work, so utility, masonry and finish-rock crews keep it in the truck inventory for cleanup, rebar trimming and post-blast detail. An inline oiler charged with pneumatic tool and rock drill oil protects the motor; heavier holes call for a production model from our rock drills category.
