The Vanair Viper G60 is a 60 CFM at 150 PSI belt-driven rotary-screw air compressor the high-pressure model in the gas Viper range built to give utility and infrastructure crews continuous-duty air from a truck deck with no trailer and no electrical-system upgrade. A 25 hp Honda iGX800 EFI gas engine drives the encapsulated airend in a compact 440 lb, 39 x 21 x 30 in. package.

The 150 PSI ceiling matters when pressure-hungry work shares the line with breakers and post drivers: sand blasting, piercing tools and irrigation blow-out all hold working pressure with headroom to spare. Crews chasing flow over pressure should compare the 70 CFM Viper G70, and the whole family is on our Vanair gas-driven compressors page. Add a contractor air hose with crowsfoot fittings and the truck is ready to work.

  • 60 CFM at 150 PSI continuous output the highest delivery pressure in Vanair’s gas Viper lineup
  • Encapsulated rotary-screw airend sealed against contamination, warranted for life with prescribed maintenance
  • 25 hp Honda iGX800 EFI gas engine with electronic fuel injection for cold-weather starting and steady RPM under load
  • 440 lb deck-mount package, 39 x 21 x 30 in.; 10 gal fuel tank; 1/2 in. NPT air outlet
  • Onboard sensors auto-unload on startup and shut down on high temp, over-pressure or low oil pressure
  • Configurations: base, cold-weather package (battery blanket, fuel and oil heaters), remote start and wheel cart
  • Applications: 90 lb breakers, piercing tools, post drivers, sand blasting, irrigation blow-out and monument engraving
  • Stocked by Crowder Supply in Denver with Vanair service parts and air-line accessories

Viper G60 FAQ

What tools will the G60 run?
Sixty CFM at 150 PSI covers a 90 lb breaker, a 4 in. piercing tool, post drivers, sand blasting, irrigation blow-out and monument engraving the air compressor buyer’s guide shows how to size CFM against your tool list.

How long will it run on a tank?
The 10 gal fuel tank provides about six and a half hours of runtime at a 70% duty cycle, so a crew gets through multiple projects without stopping to refuel.

What is the airend warranty?
Vanair’s encapsulated rotary-screw airend is sealed against contamination and warranted for life when the prescribed maintenance schedule is followed.

Is there a cold-weather version?
Yes the cold-weather configuration adds a battery blanket plus fuel and oil heaters, and it can be combined with remote start; a wheel cart configuration is also available.
