Kopr-Kote from Crowder Supply is a copper-and-graphite anti-seize lubricant for rotary and impact drilling threads: micro-size copper flakes and graphite dispersed in a water-resistant grease, fortified with antioxidants plus rust and corrosion inhibitors. It shields joints against metal-to-metal contact and seizure, cushions impact and shock loads, and its low inter-particle shear reduces stick-slip so connections break out with minimum wrench torque.
Kopr-Kote will not squeeze out of the threads, gum up or wash off, and contraction, expansion and vibration do not affect it it stays working on every joint across your drill steel and bits, from bit adapters to rod joints, and permits reuse of fittings, saving stud, bolt and nut replacement. It contains no lead or zinc.
