The Relton STHS Series interrupted cut hole saw comes complete with shank and pilot drill bit, ready to chuck up and cut. Brazed carbide teeth in an interrupted cut pattern reduce cutting resistance, clear chips fast and hold their edge through steel, stainless, aluminum, hardwoods, plywood and composites. Stocked diameters run 3/4 in. through 4 in. for pipe, conduit and panel openings.
The interrupted tooth pattern is the working difference: gaps between the carbide teeth break chips loose and cut heat buildup, so holes finish faster with less binding and a smoother edge. A reinforced body keeps the saw rigid and low-vibration through structural steel and sheet metal.
