The Epiroc EC 122T is a 2,460 lb (1,120 kg) Essential range hydraulic breaker for excavators and other carriers in the 33,100–52,900 lb (15–24 t) class. It drives a 4.72 in. (120 mm) working tool at 550–720 bpm (AutoStop mode), on 31.7–37 gpm (120–140 l/min) of oil flow at 2,175–2,465 psi (150–170 bar) and up to 54 HP (40 kW) of hydraulic input.

Epiroc builds the EC range as a durable, reliable breaker for day-to-day jobs. Hybrid technology uses an integrated nitrogen piston accumulator for constant impact energy, safe start-up and smooth operation. VibroSilenced Plus isolates the percussion mechanism from the breaker box on non-metallic suspension and seals every opening, which lowers noise and vibration, and the internal control valve and EnergyRecovery system raise operating efficiency. On the EC 122T, the monoblock design combines cylinder and tool holder in one section with no tie rods and a replaceable piston liner for cost-effective repairs; double tool retainer bars hold the working tool; percussion chamber ventilation uses a built-in check valve to reduce dust intake into the tool guiding area and percussion chamber; the wear bushing system uses a replaceable insert that can be turned 180° once at the wear limit and changed in the field with hand tools. This CL configuration comes with the ContiLube II self-bleeding automatic lubrication pump for continuous greasing of the working tool.
