HATCON (Hydraulic Attachment Tools Connectivity) is Epiroc’s telematics system for hydraulic attachments. The LTE kit mounts on the attachment and reports operating hours, location and service intervals to My Epiroc, where the fleet owner sees every connected tool on a computer, tablet or phone and gets a notification when service is due. Six complete kits cover the Epiroc range; select the kit by the attachment it fits (the models and the serial numbers from which each breaker is HATCON-prepared are listed on each kit).
Hour and position monitoring show which tools are over- or under-used, service stops can be planned before a failure, and the location function strengthens theft protection. Each kit is supplied as Epiroc’s complete set. The kits contain a battery and are shipped as dangerous goods by ground only. The breakers themselves are under Epiroc hydraulic breakers.
