The Epiroc MG 800 is a hydraulic multi grapple for 22,000–35,300 lb (10–16 t) excavators, built for loading and sorting material and for demolishing wooden and masonry structures – static (non-rotating) version.

Service weight 1,985 lb (900 kg) with an average-sized adapter plate; product weight 1,540 lb (698 kg). Max. closing force 4.2 US tons (3.8 t). Jaw opening 68.8 in. (1,747 mm), grapple width 31.5 in. (800 mm), loading volume 0.46 cu yd (0.35 m³). Oil flow 18.5–26.4 gpm (70–100 l/min) at up to 5,075 psi (350 bar). This is the static (non-rotating) version; Epiroc’s multi grapples can be converted between rotating and non-rotating.

Epiroc multi grapples load and sort material and take down wooden and masonry structures with a steady grip and virtually constant closing force. An integrated mechanical stop takes load off the cylinders, the solid perforated shells keep the load in view, and the cutting blades are replaceable and reversible. Optional tooth blades (MG 400–2300) suit block and stone handling, and optional bolt-on side plates (MG 400–1500) hold fine-grained material and debris.
