The Epiroc BP 2050 is a static (non-rotating) hydraulic bulk pulverizer for 39,700–59,500 lb (18–27 t) excavators, with an angled jaw that separates rebar from concrete in secondary reduction.

Service weight 4,695 lb (2,130 kg) with an average-sized adapter plate; product weight 4,255 lb. Cutting force at the upper blades 320 US tons (290 t); crushing force at the jaw tip 99.2 US tons (90 t). Jaw opening 34.4 in. (875 mm), jaw depth 24 in., blade length 7.5 in. Cycle time 2.9 s opening / 2.5 s closing. Oil flow 39.6–66 gpm (150–250 l/min) at up to 5,075 psi (350 bar).

The angled jaw separates rebar from concrete in secondary reduction. A piston rod guard protects the hydraulic cylinder, an integrated speed valve shortens working cycles, the tooth plate is replaceable, and the cutting blades are replaceable and reversible.

Use it for secondary reduction on demolition and recycling sites: the jaws crush concrete debris on the ground and free the rebar, so the concrete and the steel can be recycled separately.
