The Epiroc BP 3050 R is a rotating hydraulic bulk pulverizer for 66,100–88,200 lb (30–40 t) excavators, with an angled jaw that separates rebar from concrete in secondary reduction.
Service weight 8,490 lb (3,850 kg) with an average-sized adapter plate; product weight 7,715 lb. Cutting force at the upper blades 402 US tons (365 t); crushing force at the jaw tip 127 US tons (115 t). Jaw opening 40.2 in. (1,020 mm), jaw depth 25.6 in., blade length 7.5 in. Cycle time 2.9 s opening / 2.7 s closing. Oil flow 66–92.5 gpm (250–350 l/min) at up to 5,075 psi (350 bar); rotation circuit 9.2–13.2 gpm at up to 2,465 psi.
The angled jaw separates rebar from concrete in secondary reduction. A piston rod guard protects the hydraulic cylinder, an integrated speed valve shortens working cycles, the tooth plate is replaceable, and the cutting blades are replaceable and reversible. 360° endless hydraulic rotation positions the jaws precisely.
Use it for secondary reduction on demolition and recycling sites: the jaws crush concrete debris on the ground and free the rebar, so the concrete and the steel can be recycled separately.
