What Is Inside a Kit
The 250-hour pack lists its contents by part number: engine oil filter 2913318000, fuel filter 2913318100, prefilter 1604579200, element filter 6211474150, and air filter element 6211472350. The 500-hour packs add compressor oil and engine oil to the air and oil filters. The 1,500-hour kit reaches the filtration, fluid, and seal parts that only come due at the long interval. When the separator alone is what is worn, the CP oil separator kit covers it by itself.
Why the Interval Matters
A clogged air filter starves the airend, degraded oil runs hot and varnishes, and a tired separator carries oil downstream into the tool. All three show up as lost CFM long before they show up as a breakdown. Staying on the OEM hour schedule keeps a Chicago Pneumatic compressor making rated air and keeps breakers and other pneumatic tools at full power.
Oil and Kits for Other Machines
Not every service comes bundled. Rotary-screw units take a synthetic rotary screw oil, while piston compressors take an ISO 68 reciprocating compressor oil — roughly 68 cSt at 40°C with a 518°F flash point. Vanair machines have their own packages, including the Reliant RC40 500-hour kit with Vanguard reciprocating oil and two air filter elements. Loose filters, separators, and winter parts sit under air compressor accessories.

How often should a jobsite compressor be serviced? On hours, not months. Filters and fluid at the 250- and 500-hour marks, deeper wear parts at 1,500. Dusty rock work and winter running pull those intervals in — add a cold-weather kit if the machine sits out overnight.
