Pipe Line Blowers

A pipe line blower threads onto a line and pulls air through it, clearing standing water, debris and vapor out of pipe and conduit before a test or a return to service. The Texas Pneumatic TX-PLB-3 is a 3 in. unit built from a TX-3AM-P venturi air mover bolted to a 3 in. API flange with three 5/16-18 stainless socket head cap screws; the flange carries 3 in. female pipe thread on its inside diameter. A 3 in. MPT × 2 in. FPT bushing ships with it, so one blower serves 2 in. or 3 in. pipe. It runs on compressed air alone, with nothing rotating to service.
