Where a Handheld Borer Wins
A mounted auger needs room to position and level, and it needs the ground to carry the machine. A handheld hydraulic borer needs neither. Two people carry it to the hole, which is what makes it work on slopes, behind buildings, between existing posts, and inside fenced corridors. Reverse rotation backs the flight out of a root or rock instead of stalling and twisting the crew.
