Tooth Count Sets the Cut
On a reciprocating saw the blade decides everything. An 18-tooth blade clears chips fast and suits thicker stock where a rough edge is acceptable. 24T is the general-purpose middle. 32T puts more teeth in contact, which is what thin sheet, tube and conduit need — too coarse a blade there catches and strips teeth. Bonded Discs vs. Diamond
Bonded abrasive discs cut by wearing away, so they are cheap, fast, and consumed. The 180 mm diamond blade costs more up front and lasts far longer in hard, abrasive material.
