Why Air Instead of Electric
Intrinsically safe means the fixture cannot release enough energy to ignite a surrounding atmosphere. An air lamp gets there the simple way: no current at the tool, no switch contacts, no cord to chafe through against a manway edge. The LED head is sealed away from the air stream, so the only thing crossing into the space is clean compressed air on a hose you already have run.
Air Supply and Pressure
The Pneu-Light works across 40 to 120 psi (2.8 to 8.3 bar) and reaches its rated output around 100 psi, so it will run off a small utility compressor or share a manifold with breakers and drills. LED Life and Abuse
The sealed LED engine carries an estimated 10,000 hour life — and unlike an old halogen head, it takes a drop off a scaffold plank and keeps working. That matters more than raw lumens on tank, vessel, and shaft work, where replacing a lamp means pulling a man out of the hole. Pair it with air movers when the same space needs ventilation.
