All thread extension rods from Crowder Supply are threaded continuously from end to end, so the rod can be coupled, anchored or cut at any point along its length. Threads cover R32, R38, T38 and T45 in lengths from 8 in. through 168 in., and we cut rods to length 8 in. minimum complementing the male/female rods in our drill steel and extension rod range.

Continuous threading makes these rods the flexible piece of a string: join lengths with female-to-female coupling adapters, spin a carbide button bit onto the working end, and the joint count takes care of itself.
