The Atlas Copco BBD 15 is a handheld pneumatic rock drill spanning the 3040 lb classes for anchor-hole drilling, quarry bench work, secondary breaking and rock bolting. Every build hits 2,520 BPM with 220 RPM rotation on a modest 47 CFM at 90 PSI: D-handle 15E versions run 4350 lb for hard downward drilling, while the T-handle 15ET trims to 34 lb. Compare it across the Atlas Copco rock drill line.
Chucks come in 3/4 x 4-1/4 and 7/8 x 4-1/4 in. hex for standard shanked drill steel; the air inlet is 3/4 in. NPT on D-handle builds and 5/8 in. NPT on the T-handle, a help on tight air circuits. Need more blow energy or less carry weight? Every class we stock is under pneumatic rock drills, and choosing a rock drill sorts the trade-offs.
