The Atlas Copco SRD 25E is a 60 lb class pneumatic sinker drill for pedestal-style downward drilling anchor-bolt holes, foundation pins and small-diameter blast holes on quarry benches. It hits at 2,040 BPM with 215 RPM rotation, weighs 60 lb over a 24 in. length, and comes with a 7/8 x 4-1/4 in. or 1 x 4-1/4 in. hex chuck.
In sinker work the operator’s weight feeds the bit, so the SRD 25E is built for holes that run straight down. It draws 106 CFM at 90 PSI through a 3/4 in. NPT inlet on ordinary contractor air. Fit the chuck with matching shanked starter steel, and weigh it against the rest of the Atlas Copco rock drill line using our buyer’s guide.
