The Chicago Pneumatic CP 0069 is the heaviest sinker rock drill in the CP range a 60 lb class tool whose extra mass turns a slower 1,920 BPM into maximum energy per blow for dense-rock holes. Quarry, foundation and construction crews run it for pedestal-style downward drilling: anchor bolts, foundation pins, secondary breaking and small-diameter blast holes, at the top end of our sinker drills range.
Choose the 7/8 x 4-1/4 or 1 x 4-1/4 in. hex chuck and matching drill steel. Air demand is 130 CFM at 90 PSI through a 3/4 in. NPT inlet plan one 185 CFM tow-behind per drill, with the air compressor buyer’s guide handling the math. The rest of the Chicago Pneumatic rock drill family runs from 14 lb chippers up to this 60 lb bench tool.
