The Darda C20 J is a carrier-mounted rock splitter for 5-7 ton excavators – 1,800 tons of splitting force from a 76 mm (3 in.) drill hole, the strongest splitting cylinder in the world relative to its size. It is rigidly mounted to the carrier through its upper mounting plate with a 360-degree hydraulic rotary drive, so one operator positions the split precisely in any direction – horizontal, vertical or overhead. An internal pressure booster guarantees full splitting force regardless of the carrier’s hydraulic input pressure, and the automatic wedge lubrication system delivers 80-100 splits per filling. Nearly silent, vibration-free and with no fly-rock, it splits in inhabited areas, underground, inside buildings and underwater – ideal for mining, shaft sinking and tunnel cross-cuts in confined space.

  • 1,800 t splitting force from a 76 mm hole

  • One-operator horizontal, vertical and overhead work
  • Internal pressure booster – full force at any input pressure
