The Mincon MP4H-DH is a 4 in. class down-the-hole hammer for rig-mounted percussion drilling of 4.3 to 5.1 in. (110130 mm) holes in construction, quarrying, mining and well drilling. Built in Mincon’s Irish and Finnish factories, the MP40 range runs 85 to 96 lb by variant with a 16 to 18 lb piston, a 2-3/8 API backhead thread and a 3.9 to 4.0 in. outside diameter.
Three shank variants match the bits already in your inventory: the MP4H-DH for DHD340 shanks, the MP40-TD for TD40, and the footvalve-free MP40-MQ for tubeless bits. Keep matching DTH drill bits on hand and meter rock drill oil into the air line to protect the piston and chuck; the DTH hammer buyer’s guide walks through sizing hammer, bit and compressor to the hole.
