The Relton rotary hammer rebar cutter drill bit gets you through the steel a standard masonry bit can’t touch: tungsten carbide cutting edges cut embedded rebar inside the hole so the job keeps moving without repositioning the anchor layout. Diameters run 3/8 in. through 2-1/2 in. in 8 to 24 in. overall lengths, with straight-shank and SDS-Plus versions for rotary hammers and drill motors.

The working method is simple: drill with a standard bit until you hit steel, switch to the rebar cutter to eat through the bar, then finish the hole with your masonry bit. Keep a four-cutter R4X masonry bit or an SDS-Max hammer bit in the kit for the concrete either side of the steel both live in our electric hammer tool range.
