The swivel saver is a replaceable threaded sub that installs between the drill string and the grout swivel in soil stabilization drilling, absorbing the rotational stress and thread wear that would otherwise land on the swivel itself. Machined from high-strength alloy in male threads R38, R51, T45, T52 and X51, with female ends from R32 through R51 plus TTN40, X38 and X51.
Thread joints at the swivel see constant make-and-break, so putting the wear on an inexpensive saver instead of the swivel body cuts rebuild costs over a season of grouting. Match the male end to your rods and the female end to the swivel connection cross-thread combinations like R51 to TTN40 are stocked.
