The Tamco/Toku TRC-30 also listed as the TD-30 is a pneumatic T-handle trench digger for cutting packed soil and clay around forms, footers and existing foundations. It pairs the power of Toku’s D-handle CD-30 with the steering control of a T-handle, and its four-bolt back head lets the tool convert to a D-handle configuration in minutes. Drop-forged alloy steel construction and a forged latch retainer stand up to daily production digging.
The 1 x 4-1/4 in. hex chuck runs the same spades and digging steels as the rest of our clay & trench diggers, with matching steels stocked under clay digger blade tools. Once the trench is dug and refilled, a backfill tamper finishes the compaction pass, and the rest of the Toku digger line the CD-20 and CD-30 D-handle models sits on one page. Crowder Supply stocks the family in Denver.

TRC-30 Trench Digger FAQ
What steel does the TRC-30 take?
The 1 x 4-1/4 in. hex chuck accepts standard clay spades and digging steels, so it shares steel with the other diggers in the lineup.
T-handle or D-handle which Toku digger should I choose?
The TRC-30 pairs the power of the D-handle CD-30 with the steering control of a T-handle, which helps when guiding cuts around forms and footers. Its four-bolt back head also converts the tool to a D-handle configuration in minutes, so you are not locked into one grip.
Can it run quieter?
Yes an optional muffler is available, and a safety trigger is fitted as standard.
