The Tamco/Toku AA-OS is a compact, lightweight pneumatic chipping hammer 8 lb with a 1-13/16 in. stroke at 3,000 to 3,200 BPM built for scaling, weld dressing, surface preparation and detail chiseling in tight spaces and small enclosures. The high-frequency, short-stroke action and 12-3/4 in. overall length suit overhead, confined-space and one-hand work that no full-size hammer can reach.
A 7/8 in. piston keeps the air draw to 23 CFM through a 3/8 in. NPT inlet on a 1/2 in. hose, with pneumatic tool oil in the line protecting the small motor. Chuck options are .580 in. hex or .680 in. round. It is the lightest tool in our chipping hammer selection; for pure rust and paint removal, needle scalers and scabblers go lighter still.
