The Atlas Copco LPD-HD is a heavy-duty handheld hydraulic post driver for pipes and piles up to 5-1/2 in., sign posts, fence posts, road barrier tubes and anchors. It strikes 1,320 blows per minute on 7 to 11 GPM of oil flow at 1,5221,812 PSI, in trigger-lever (86 lb) and remote-valve (88 lb) versions the step up from the standard Atlas Copco LPD when post sizes grow.
A built-in on/off valve handles short pole driving, and the driver must be paired with a guide adapter kit to fit the post. Oil comes from a hydraulic power pack or a machines auxiliary circuit with a machine source, an OFD30 oil flow divider is required to hold flow at spec (32 GPM and 3,600 PSI maximum in).
