The Rhino HPD-60 is a 60 lb handheld hydraulic post driver the flagship of the Rhino hydraulic post driver line that sinks fence posts, T-posts, sign posts and guardrail posts at 1,380 blows per minute with 95 joules (about 70 ft-lb) per blow. Its closed hydraulic system keeps hitting in rain and below-freezing weather that would ice up an air tool, and three-axis vibration under 9.6 m/s extends allowable daily trigger time.
Oil comes from a Rhino HPP 14 power pack at 8 GPM, or from a skid steer, mini excavator or utility truck auxiliary circuit through the HPD-60 oil flow divider. Two selectable master chucks 2-1/2 in. and 3-7/8 in. take Chuck-Lok and PD-55 adapters, so gas, air and hydraulic Rhino drivers share one adapter inventory; the Rhino post driver buyers guide compares all three power sources.
