The Texas Pneumatic TX1B needle scaler is a USA-made pneumatic scaler whose needles adjust automatically to any surface contour, making fast work of rust, paint, scale and marine growth on irregular steel. It runs 4,600 BPM from a 1 in. bore and 1-1/8 in. stroke, drawing 12 CFM at 90 psi through a 1/4 NPT inlet, in a 6 lb tool measuring 17 in. overall.

The tool converts completely to a chisel scaler the TX1B chisel scaler is the flat-blade version and lever throttle, push throttle, long reach and 2 mm, 4 mm and 7 in. needle options are all stocked. Typical duty runs from de-rusting and weld peening to casting cleanup and chipping stone, concrete and brick.
