The Epiroc EC 180T is a 9,300 lb (4,200 kg) Essential range hydraulic breaker for excavators and other carriers in the 99,000–154,000 lb (45–70 t) class. It drives a 7.09 in. (180 mm) working tool at 550–800 bpm (AutoStart mode) or 380–570 bpm (AutoStop mode), on 66–84.5 gpm (250–320 l/min) of oil flow at 2,320–2,610 psi (160–180 bar) and up to 129 HP (96 kW) of hydraulic input.

Epiroc builds the EC range as a durable, reliable breaker for day-to-day jobs. Hybrid technology uses an integrated nitrogen piston accumulator for constant impact energy, safe start-up and smooth operation. VibroSilenced Plus isolates the percussion mechanism from the breaker box on non-metallic suspension and seals every opening, which lowers noise and vibration, and the internal control valve and EnergyRecovery system raise operating efficiency. On the EC 180T, double tool retainer bars hold the working tool; percussion chamber ventilation uses a built-in check valve to reduce dust intake into the tool guiding area and percussion chamber; the StrokeControl valve combines stroke length and start-up mode switching so the operator can match the breaker to the application. This CL configuration comes with the ContiLube II self-bleeding automatic lubrication pump for continuous greasing of the working tool.
