The Epiroc CC 3100 is a hydraulic combi cutter for 55,100–88,200 lb (25–40 t) excavators, with interchangeable U (universal), S (steel cutting) and P (pulverizer) jaw sets for primary demolition, secondary reduction and steel cutting.

Cutting force at the jaw tip 474 US tons (430 t) on every jaw set. Service weight 6,315–7,715 lb (2,865–3,500 kg) depending on the jaw set; jaw opening up to 34.3 in. Cycle time 3.1 s opening / 2.9 s closing. Oil flow 39.6–66 gpm (150–250 l/min) at up to 5,075 psi (350 bar); rotation circuit 9.2–13.2 gpm at up to 2,465 psi.

Two hydraulic cylinders deliver virtually constant closing force, and two independently moving jaws eliminate displacement force, lowering stress on the carrier. The CAPS coupling and positioning system lets the crew change jaw sets on site. An integrated speed valve shortens working cycles, piston rod guards protect both cylinders, the crushing teeth of the U and P jaws are replaceable, and the cutting blades are replaceable and reversible. 360° endless hydraulic rotation positions the jaws precisely.

Use it for primary demolition and secondary reduction of concrete structures with the U (universal) jaws, cutting steel beams, pipes, tanks and rebar with the S (steel cutting) jaws, and crushing concrete into recyclable material with the P (pulverizer) jaws, so one carrier tool covers the whole job.
